| Use 3 ply baby yarn. |
| You can use #5, #6, or #7 needles. |
| Cast on anywhere from 44-72 stitches. |
| Knit 2, purl 2 for six inches. |
| Always end with purl. |
| Last row...knit 2 together across. Put thread through stitches with yarn needle and draw top of hat together, sewing down along side. Put pom pom on top! |
