Crocheted Baby Hats for Boys and Girls (02/02)

| Use 3 ply baby yarn. |
| Make a chain 6 to 7 inches long. |
| Row 1: In third ch, make a single crochet stitch (1sc) repeat to the end of the row, count the stitches, chain2 and turn. |
| Row 2: Work in back loop only, make 1 sc in each stitch until you have the same number of stitches as in Row 1, ch 2, turn. Repeat Row 2 until your piece measures about 7 inches. To finish, sew one long side together, then sew one short end together. Pull short end tight then trim with pom pom on top. |
