Instead of requiring a 34 week commitment, the new format offers several 8 to 10 week studies. While the lengthy time commitment has been removed, the publishers have kept much of what makes Disciple Bible Study so special: presenting the Bible as the primary text, daily preparation for each participant, weekly group meetings, video segments featuring a variety of biblical scholars, and the goal of increased discipleship on the part of each participant. Starting sometime in October I will be offering the 8 week study "Invitation to the New Testament." An exact starting date and meeting time have not yet been decided. Those details will be worked out once I know who is interested in participating. It may be that we will have both daytime and a nighttime sessions. I am quite willing to be very flexible in getting this group started. Attached is a sign up sheet. If you are interested in participating in this new exciting study, please fill it out and send it to/drop it off in the church office. I look forward to our work together in this new form of Bible Study. Peace, Pastor Alice Ann |
